A dog-friendly holiday 

Your furry friend will also enjoy Camping de Duinhoeve. Take a break with your dog and enjoy the forest or the beach together! Dogs are allowed on the fields 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 7000, but must always be kept on a leash. Dogs are welcome in the rental chalets type Zeeland, Bosdier and type Schelp. They are also allowed in all Duinlodges.

Beach walk

In the meadow area, dogs are allowed on the beach all year round, but must be on a leash from April to October between 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Outside this period dogs are allowed, both loose and on a leash. From the campsite you walk via the Duinhoevepad through the Verklikkerduinen. At the beach crossing Duinhoevepad you can get a breath of fresh air while the dog can romp. The almost white natural beach on the west coast of Schouwen-Duiveland is no less than 17 kilometers long. There is plenty of room!

Run-off areas

In the front part of the Gadrabos along the Vroonweg, stray dogs are allowed along, just like with 't Lapje at the rear of the Gadrabos. In Boswachterij Westerschouwen dogs are allowed free between the edge of the forest and the bridle path at the Adriaan van der Weijdeweg near Westenschouwen. Dogs are often allowed in the other nature reserves, but it is mandatory to keep the dogs on a leash.
